PhishLabs moves into new Charleston HQ

(Photo/Liz Segrist)Charleston cybersecurity firm PhishLabs plans to create 45 jobs over the next three years and move into a larger corporate headquarters along Upper King Street.

PhishLabs plans to occupy 25,000 square feet in the Raven Cliff Co.’s new Pacific Box and Crate development at 1501 King St., the company said in a news release. The commercial project will host several tech firms, small businesses, a yoga studio, a coffee shop and restaurants.  

PhishLabs handles phishing attacks, data breaches and online fraud for financial, technology, health care, retail and insurance companies. The company, which was founded in 2008, has seen a 170% increase in the number of employees in the past two years.

 “Our team shares a passion for fighting cybercrime. … Our new headquarters provides a great environment where team members can work together, grow their talents and make the world a safer, better place,” PhishLabs founder and CEO John LaCour said a statement.
