Restaurant 17 will partner with local farmers affected by the market and restaurant closures to provide the public with fresh produce and other goods, the company said today in a news release.
The Travelers Rest restaurant’s plan is a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on the community.
“We are doing what we can during this unprecedented time to try and work together as a community,” George Hincapie, restaurant founder, said in the news release. “We believe a strong community connection and team philosophy will help us through this period.”
Restaurant 17 also announced plans to implement delivery services within a 15-mile radius of the restaurant, including The Cliffs communities, along with curbside pick-up. They will use a special bistro-style delivery menu and offer 40% discounts off of the list price of bottled wines.
