City Club of Greenville has new leadership team

The City Club of Greenville, once known as the Commerce Club, has a new leadership team: Ted Sweeney and Kimberley Loper.

Sweeney

Sweeney, the newly appointed general manager, has worked with many clubs in the past such as the Biltmore Forest Country Club, Interlachen Country Club and the Houston Country Club. He has been involved with the local Club Management Association of America chapters where he has served on various educational and charitable committees.

Loper, the director of membership, is a graduate of the University of Memphis. With a background in business development, hospitality management, communications and private club membership at locations such as the Greenville Country Club and the WildeWood Club in Columbia, she equipped to lead the membership initiatives at the City Club of Greenville, a news release said.

“We are delighted to welcome Ted and Kimberley to our team at the City Club of Greenville,” Jim Coyne, founding partner and executive vice president of operations at BNG Hospitality, said in the news release. “Their proven dedication to excellence aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing members with unparalleled dining and social experiences of Greenville.  We look forward to the new chapter they will help us write at the club.”

City Club of Greenville is located in downtown Greenville on the 17th floor at One Liberty Square.
