City of Columbia accepting community promotions grant applications

Staff Report //November 20, 2018

The city of Columbia is accepting applications for community promotions grants. The grants are generally awarded to organizations which do not qualify for hospitality or accommodations tax funding.

Applicants must be nonprofit or charitable organizations seeking funds for events held within the city limits and occurring between July 1, 2018, and June 30, 2019.

No letters or email requests will be considered, the city said in a news release. Applications may be downloaded online and found at the city’s website. Applications are due by noon Nov. 30.
