International full-service sign manufacturer Colite International will invest $2.5 million in its Richland County operations, purchasing state-of-the-art equipment for its 133,000-square-foot manufacturing facility at 5 Technology Circle.

“Our investment in Richland County represents a continued dedication to excellence and further demonstrates our commitment to our employees and the community,” Colite president Peter Brown said in a news release.

Colite was founded in 1947 as Colonial-Hites Co. It primary market segments include corporate conversion programs and rebrands, custom and storefront retail signage and hospitality signage and service.

“Richland County is proud to be the home of Colite’s headquarters,” said Richland County Council chair Joyce Dickerson. “Its investment further solidifies its relationship with our county and, we hope, is a harbinger of continued growth over the coming years.”
