Grow With Google tour is coming to Columbia as part of their larger Grow With Google initiative to help create economic opportunities for Americans throughout the country. Google will host the full-day event to help job seekers, small business owners, students, educators and entrepreneurs improve their digital skills. The event is free to the public and will take place at the 701 Whaley venue located in Columbia’s historic Olympia neighborhood.

The Grow With Google event will offer one-on-one coaching sessions, 7 different workshops, and interactive demonstrations. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on workshops, led by Google staff, on topics such as online tools for small business, job search strategies, email basics, online safety and search engine organization. Attendees are welcome to drop in for a few sessions or stay all day.
