Generous locals looking to help out this holiday season are invited on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 to swing by One80 Place for its seventh annual Turkey and a $20 donation drive.The homeless-oriented non-profit is asking individuals and organizations to collect and drop off proteins (ham, beef, pork, poultry) and monetary gifts to support the shelter guests and community members who rely on the kitchen for 170,000 meals a year.

Turkey and a $20 contributors can expect to enjoy a smooth drop off service, thanks to volunteers and local groups on hand to receive drive-through donations. Contributors will also have the chance to snap car-side selfies with local personalities, newscasters and sport mascots!

One80 Place provides food, shelter and hope to end homelessness and hunger one person at a time, one family at a time. One80 Place, located at 35 Walnut Street, houses 70 emergency shelter beds, 40 transitional Veterans’ beds, a top-notch health clinic and a new community kitchen that serves more than 170,000 meals a year. It provides dedicated counseling and group meeting space, job training facilities, and more.
