MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA: The 14th Annual Myrtle Beach International Film Festival (MBIFF), billed as
“The East Coast’s answer to the Sundance Film Festival, has set this year’s Festival dates for April 23 – 27, 2019.
Winner of prestigious international and national awards, such as “Top 25 Film Festivals To Submit To In The World,”
by Movie Maker Magazine, and recognition as one of the best film festivals in the world, by Film International, the
MBIFF call for entry has closed for this year’s event and we can guarantee a phenomenal line up of films will be on
the big screen this year.
We will be honoring Melissa Gilbert and Timothy Bus eld with Lifetime Achievement Awards during this year’s
event. Both will also be in attendance to support their new film which was written by and stars Je ff Daniels,
Melissa and Tim’s partner in a new film company.
We have many World and United States Premieres taking place this year and many of the filmmakers will be in
attendance. Filmmakers from Russia, China, Germany, France, Canada and of course many from The United States
will host Q&A’s with the audience after their film’s screening. Filmmakers, industry professionals and actors from
featured films, short films, and documentaries will participate in the popular “Film Talks” that will take place
Thursday April 25th from 4:15pm to 5:15pm inside the theatre’s auditorium. This will be an open forum allowing
interaction with the audience. Filmmakers and Actors will share their experiences and insider information on life
behind and in front of the camera. At this time, Filmmaker Panel includes Melissa Gilbert, Timothy Busfi eld,
Andrew Simpson (Hollywood’s Wolf Trainer for big budget film), David Silverman, Mark Blanchard, Dimitri de Clercq,
Brady Brandwood, Dr. Chris McDaniel, George Wingard, Grey Gowder, Hiroyuki Miyagawa, J.R. Poli, John Marcucci,
