We are pleased to host Captain Kevin Byrne, USN, Commanding Officer, Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC). Imagine leading a staff & crew of 450 of the Navy’s nuclear propulsion community as they guide the 3000+ Sailor student body through the initial training pipeline of all our nuclear operators at Nuclear Field ‘A’ School. And then … they are on to Nuclear Power School for the science(s) and engineering training essential to naval nuclear propulsion plants. Captain Byrne will share a glimpse inside NNPTC with data, detailed descriptions and anecdotal stories – sea stories of course – of a day he has at work.
