The Sam Adams Oktoberfest is Charleston’s annual celebration of German culture, food and beer in the form of a large-scale funfair. German food and interactive games, Samuel Adams beers on tap, an authentic polka band and Chareston’s Stein Hoisting Semifinal.

Stein Hoisting Competition Details: This is a test of strength, both mental and physical! Contestants compete to see who can hold a 34oz stein filled with Octoberfest the longest without spilling, bending their elbow, or leaning their back. The winner will receive fun prizes and a spot in the final round of the Stein Hoisting Competition for greater Charleston held at Bay Street Biergarten on September 25th. Here the winner will compete for a chance to win $500.

This year’s tickets are ALL INCLUSIVE! Beer samplings, food samplings and a comemorative mug included.
