Summerville Medical Center, Summerville Family YMCA and the Town of Summerville Parks & Recreation are proud to partner together to launch the Swim Strong program to provide children in rural areas around Dorchester County with life jackets and other flotation devices. SC is ranked 9th in the US for pediatric drownings.

Donate child-sized life jackets, noodles, floaties, kick boards and other flotation devices to be distributed to children around the county this summer at the collection event this Saturday, July 10 from 7:30am – 10:30am. Staff will be located at Summerville Medical Center’s Registration Entrance and Brighton Park ER’s front entrance.
