Counselors open therapy practice in Charleston area

A therapy practice dedicated to guiding individuals, couples and families through the life stages of conception, pregnancy, postpartum, parenthood, infertility and loss, is expanding into the Lowcountry.

With Tennessee offices already established in Nashville and Knoxville, Ready Nest Counseling is setting up practice in Mount Pleasant.

Ready Nest Counselors are trained professionals in maternal mental health and marriage and family counseling, offering a range of therapeutic services, according to a news release from Ready Nest. The practice's approach recognizes that parenthood is a complex journey, and individuals may require guidance at various stages, whether they are planning to start a family, have recently welcomed a new baby, or are navigating the challenges of infertility or loss, the release said.

“We are delighted to bring Ready Nest’s services to the Charleston area,” CEO and founder Emily Pardy said in the release. “Perinatal mental health plays a crucial role in the well-being of both individuals and families, and we are dedicated to ensuring that the Charleston community has access to the support they need to thrive."

Ready Nest Counseling offers both virtual and in-person options at 757 Johnnie Dodds Boulevard, Suite A, in Mount Pleasant.
