Fashion Plate features trunk shows, fashion events and style showcases in the Charleston area. ATTENTION: Submissions should now be made using our online form.
Guinot Institut Paris, a French cosmetics company, is set to open a Mount Pleasant location — Guinot Institut of Mount Pleasant — on Oct. 22 in Suite F at The Market at Oakland shopping center, at 1161 Oakland Market Road.
Services will focus on the face, eyes and neck, including anti-aging, firming, cleansing, peeling, lifting and relaxation treatments.
The company plans to open a second Mount Pleasant location, as well as one in Nexton and one in Avondale.
Belk in Mount Pleasant Towne Centre is holding a Girls’ Night Out from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. today. The event includes music, refreshments and sales on fall fashion items.
Croghan’s Jewel Box is scheduled to host Ari and Corina Madilian from Single Stone for a trunk show on Friday and Saturday.
In-store appointments are encouraged.
The Holy City Vintage Market for October is slated for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at The Park Cafe. The event includes 10 vintage clothing and accessories vendors, plus artisans, records and books.
