The Greenville Chamber will welcome three new board members to its 2021 board and recently named Will Huss, CEO of Trehel Corp. and the national coordinator of Reformed University Fellowship, as its 2022 chair-elect.

Huss currently serves as the vice chair of talent and workforce at the chamber, where he has been a board member for four years, according to a news release.

At Trehel Corp., a Greenville-based general contractor, Huss directs the company’s strategic planning and vision as the owner after 23 years of working with the company. Through Reformed University Fellowship, Huss manages the organizational health of the ministry at 170 college campuses.

“I am excited about this opportunity to continue to serve the Greenville Chamber and business community,” Huss said in the release. “The chamber has been a leader in economic growth, workforce development, several local and state political issues, as well as many other areas of interest for Greenville and the Upstate. Trehel was welcomed to Greenville by the chamber several years ago when we moved our headquarters, and they have continued to support us in many ways since. The navigation through the pandemic so far has been done masterfully by the staff and board of the chamber and I am thankful to be associated with them.”

Beginning January 2021, Matt Caldwell, president of the Bon Secours Health System; Jessica Donan, managing partner of Ernst & Young Greenville office; and David Field, market president of Colliers International, will join the 2021 board of directors, according to a news release.

Max Metcalf, manager of government and community relations at BMW Manufacturing Co. will serve as the 2021 board chair, following Rich Hagins, CEO of US&S and the board’s immediate past chair.

“It has been an honor to have worked alongside Will Huss of Trehel on the chamber board the last few years and see firsthand his commitment to the community through his role as vice chair of talent and workforce,” Metcalf said in the release. “Will is a great selection as chair-elect and a real plus for the entire Greenville team — staff and investors alike. The board of directors joins me in congratulating him.”
