Helping Out highlights some of the many charitable events and activities going on in the Charleston area. Submissions should be sent to [email protected]
A Moms’ Brunch will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 15 at Athleta in Mount Pleasant Towne Centre. The event will include snacks and beverages, and 5% of all sales at the store will be donated to Postpartum Support Charleston.
Admission is free; registration is recommended.
Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach is scheduled to host its 25th annual golf tournament at 11:30 a.m. April 25 at The Golf Club at Briar’s Creek on Johns Island.
The event begins with registration and lunch at 11:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Dinner and an awards ceremony will follow the tournament. Registration is $475 per golfer or $1,800 for a foursome.
Camp Happy Days will host the second annual Corks for Kids fundraiser from 6 to 10 p.m. April 12 at The Citadel Beach Club on the Isle of Palms. The event will include hors d’oeuvres, desserts, wines and a silent auction.
Tickets are $125 per person or $1,500 for a sponsor table.
