The Charleston Quarantine Supper Club will host a series of Supper and a Story events, proceeds of which will go toward supporting Louie’s Kids.

The virtual supper club, created by Bulldog Tours, Hamby Catering and Trio Solutions Inc., will offer a guided culinary history tour, trivia game and the opportunity to connect with other locals online.

The events will begin Wednesday and run until the end of the month. There will be 12 events over six days at 7 and 8 p.m. Each hourlong dining-storytelling event will be hosted by local comedian Michael Clayton. A Bulldog Tours guide will host the culinary tour and storytelling portion of the event.

Meals, which will be delivered to attendees’ homes on the night of the supper club, include an appetizer, entree, dessert and nonalcoholic beverage from Hamby Catering.

A Zoom meet-up invitation will be sent to those who have registered.

Mount Pleasant’s Dr. Matthew Barefoot of Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Specialists S.C. is launching a community contest called Wisdom For Wisdom.

To apply, students will watch a video about the wisdom teeth removal procedure, take a short quiz and submit a few sentences about how the program could help them. The winner will be announced on Facebook.
