Judah & the Lion, who scored a hit last year with the song Take It All Back, will headline the 2018 St. Pat’s in Five Points, the event planning committee announced on its Instagram account Tuesday.
Other musical acts include The Travelin’ Kine, Chris Lane, Rainbow Kitten Surprise and Morgan Wallen.
Events for this year’s festival begin March 9 with the dyeing of the Five Points Fountain on Harden Street. Admission is free, though attendees are encouraged to bring a new book or toy to donate to Happy Wheels, a local nonprofit assisting hospitalized children.
On St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, Five Points will once again play host to one of the largest celebrations in the Southeast, with more than 45,000 expected to descend on the village.
The 2018 festival will feature a parade, a silent disco, a selfie contest and the Get to the Green 15K, 10K, 5K and Family Fun 10-Miler as well as five stages with more than 20 live musical acts.
