Lexington Medical Center has opened a new urgent care and imaging center near the intersection of Interstate 20 and U.S. Highway 378.
Called Lexington Medical Center Saluda Pointe, the facility, located behind the Chick-fil-A restaurant, opened today at 8 a.m.
The facility is the first in the hospital’s network to offer 3T MRI, which provides a more detailed imaging of the brain, spine, bones, blood vessels and soft tissue of joints, according to a news release. The center also offers CT scans, X-rays and ultrasounds.
“Lexington Medical Center Saluda Pointe brings an additional urgent care and imaging center to the town of Lexington that’s closer to the hospital and convenient to the interstate and neighboring communities,” Tod Augsburger, president and CEO of Lexington Medical Center, said in the release.
The center will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. Hours for the imaging center vary, with extended hours available.
