West Ashley Farmers Market resumes through October

Listen to this articleThe West Ashley Farmers Market resumed operation this week with an “essentials-only” format from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesdays.
The market will continue every Wednesday through Oct. 27 at Ackerman Park, 55 Sycamore Ave., the city of Charleston said in a news release.
The essentials format for the farmers market includes specific vendors selling local produce and locally packaged food items, the city said, including:
- R. Fields Farms
- O. Freeman Farm
- Gruber Farms
- Lowcountry Fungi
- R & R Acres
- Shuler Peach Co.
- Storey Farms
- Charleston Spice Co.
- Counter Cheese Caves
- Dalai Sofia Ferments
- Holy Smoke Smoked Olive Oil
- Rio Bertolini’s Fresh Pasta
The West Ashley Farmers Market includes free parking, and vendors and attendees are asked to follow all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention protocols and guidelines related to the coronavirus pandemic.
