Countybank is expanding its reach with a new commercial loan location in Simpsonville.

The company said in a news release that the 309 S.E. Main St. office will put the bank in a position to serve the growth of the area while bringing services to a business community struggling through a pandemic.

“As the cities of Simpsonville and Mauldin continue to grow, we are thrilled to provide our services in a new community,” Countybank President and CEO R. Thornwell Dunlap III said in the news release. “This year has been a tough one for businesses across the Upstate, and we hope that the opening of a new loan office will aid in the support of local businesses that need it most.”

The new office’s services include commercial loans, business lending and cash management. Although the office has opened officially, the lobby is closed for COVID-19 precautions, the release said. Office hours are available to clients by appointment.

Key management team members in Simpsonville include Tim Lincolnhol, senior vice president and Simpsonville market executive, and Ginger King, relationship manager and commercial administrator. Both Lincolnhol and King are local to Simpsonville and have commercial and retail banking experience. “Our team is looking forward to not only expanding the bank’s footprint but also using this as an opportunity to get to know our neighbors better,” Ken Harper, executive vice president and COO of Countybank, said in the release. “It’s exciting to have the opportunity to better serve businesses in an area that is growing as quickly as the Golden Strip.”

Founded in 1933, Countybank has locations in the Greenwood, Greenville, Greer and Anderson communities. Countybank provides products and services through Countybanc Insurance Services Inc., Countybanc Investment Services Inc., Countybank Mortgage, Countybank Trust Services, and its affiliate, Greenwood Capital.
