Columbia Chamber to host small business forum

Representatives of Midlands small businesses are invited to an interactive event hosted by the Columbia Chamber of Commerce on Monday.

The session, to be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at The Venue on Main at 1602 Main St., will include roundtable discussions and speakers from organizations including the Small Business Administration of South Carolina District Office, entrepreneurial program 1 Million Cups Columbia and the Columbia Office of Business Opportunities.

Discussion topics will focus on technology, marketing and capital access. The event will also include representatives from Square, a point-of-sale credit card processing system.

Beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Tickets are $10 per person, with RSVP requested by Sunday.

Validation will be provided for parking at the Taylor Street garage.
