City to hold minority business conference

Listen to this articleColumbia residents can learn about business opportunities at the Minority Business Opportunity Conference on April 4.
The conference, hosted by the Office of Business Opportunities, will include information about the city’s procurement procedures and how to become a certified disadvantaged business enterprise. It will also provide an opportunity to meet people who regularly purchase goods and services for the city.
The free event will be held from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. at The Venue on Main at 1620 Main St.
