SC Biz News names Best Places to Work for 2022

SC Biz News has named 119 companies ranging from contractors to credit unions to its 2022 list of Best Places to Work in South Carolina.  

The companies were chosen in partnership with the publishers of SC Biz News and the Best Companies Group for the 17th consecutive year. Rankings will be revealed during a ceremony on Aug. 18 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

Companies which choose to participate are surveyed by Best Companies Group, an independent research company. A two-part process includes an employer questionnaire about policies and procedures, among other information, as well as an employee survey with eight focus areas including work environment, pay and benefits, leadership and planning, and overall engagement. Overall rankings reflect a combination of the questionnaire and the survey data.  

Companies are broken down in small (15-49 employees), medium (50-249) and large (250 and above) employer categories.
