The project team has placed 11,135 cubic yards of concrete, 465 tons of rebar and 89.3 miles of post-tension cable during construction of the building, according to a news release.

“We’ve reached this important milestone thanks to the hard work and dedication of our employees, client and trade partners,” said Ben Barfield, Brasfield & Gorrie vice president and division manager, in the release. “We greatly appreciate the opportunity to continue our work within the Camperdown development, and we look forward to completing this residential tower in 2020.”

Brasfield & Gorrie is collaborating with architect Wakefield Beasley & Associates on the project, which is slated for completion in the first quarter of 2020.

The general contractor also is working with developer Centennial American Properties on other components of the mixed-use development, including an office building topped by condominiums, and a recently completed 629-space parking deck at the base of the apartments, which will service the entire Camperdown project, the release said.
