Charleston construction company adds to its executive team

A new executive hire marks a pivotal point for a Charleston construction company as it looks to expand its depth of manufacturing projects.

Frampton Construction Co. LLC, a full-service construction firm providing planning and design support, preconstruction, and construction services, has brought on Alan Jones as vice president of strategy and growth, specializing in manufacturing, according to a Frampton news release.

This addition marks a commitment by the company to strengthen its service offerings for manufacturing clients, the release stated.

In his 30 years of experience, Jones has established long-term client relationships in all aspects of construction, from economic development to site selection, design, utility coordination and corporate real estate, the release stated. Jones will be responsible for the strategic direction and development of the manufacturing segment of Frampton Construction's business.

“Alan is an incredible value-add for our clients in this sector,” Frampton CEO Chad Frampton said in the release. “Every organization served by Alan has seen significant growth under his leadership, and we are excited to have him on the Frampton team.”

The appointment signals a pivotal point in Frampton Construction’s forward momentum, leveraging Jones’ extensive network and knowledge to expand the depth and breadth of manufacturing projects, especially in high-demand areas like food and beverage and the EV/battery market, the release stated.

Jones joins Frampton from CRB, where he led a global business development team to drive long-term sales growth in the life sciences and food and beverage markets, according to the release. His prior experience also includes mission-critical, building products, automotive, chemicals, and electronics manufacturing. Jones, who resides in Raleigh, N.C., will split time between the company’s three offices and travel throughout the southeast based on client development needs.
