Richland Library is accepting applications for its next artist-in-residence for spring 2020.
The residency, which runs from Jan. 13 until May 15, includes a studio location at the library’s main branch at 1431 Assembly St. The artist-in-residence will have open office hours to share expertise and answer questions and will work closely with the arts librarian in offering various public programs.
The artist-in-residence mediums include: traditional/fine art, performance, installation, sculpture, filmmaking, music and mixed media. Artists in all mediums are encouraged to apply at richlandlilbrary.com. The application deadline is Dec. 15.
Developed in 2016, the artist-in-residence program aims to connect the community with local, working artists and to provide creative and educational opportunities to local residents.
