Circa Creative Studios has launched more than 60 new company brands from scratch since its 2015 founding by COO Laura Deleot and CEO Tori Thomas, who also serve as the firm’s creative directors. A dozen of these brands have garnered $1 million in revenue, according to a news release, thanks to the company’s work in website development, email marketing and social media content planning and production.

“Now more than ever, intentional, comprehensive and creative design is imperative for a business to succeed within its industry and community,” Thomas said in the release. “The pandemic has led many of our clients to take a step back and consider what every element of their brand, their website and their social media conveys. As a collaborative company, now across four markets, we’re able to bring unbridled creativity and varying perspectives to help businesses tell their stories and stand out as commerce changes.”

Circa Creative currently has offices in Nashville, Tenn; Kalamazoo, Mich.; and New York. The Greenville office will be led by Sonya Watson, former senior art director at DVL Seigenthaler in Nashville.

“Our culture, built on encouragement and empowerment, has cultivated an open, trusting and diverse team that can truly deliver on original and unexpected brand identities and marketing campaigns that lead businesses to success,” Deleot said in the release.

According to the release, the company is also committed to mentoring young creatives through a six-month fellowship program, which has  helped launch the careers of more than 20 graduates.

Circa plans to kick off its Greenville fellowship program in 2021.

“A major part of our business model is creating and investing in a learning environment,” Deleot said in the release. “Tori and I believe, and our growth has proven, that a collaborative and boundless learning environment ignites inspiration and the best results for clients.”

The design firm’s revenue has doubled year-over-year, prompting its expansion to additional markets, according to the release.
