Richland Library is accepting applications for its next artist-in-residence program until June 15.

The residency will run from July until December and highlight the power of hope and resiliency within the local arts community, according to a news release from the library.

The artist-in-residence will serve as a liaison between the library and area artists, curating experiential content such as workshops and tutorials, and work with the arts librarian to offer public programs. He or she will also share expertise and answer questions during regular office hours.

The residency includes an online gallery of the artist’s work on Richland Library’s website as we all as month stipend and a studio space at the library’s main branch at 1431 Assembly St.

Artists working in all mediums, including traditional and fine art, sculpture, filmmaking, music and performance art, are encouraged to apply. Applications and additional information are available online at https://www.richlandlibrary.com/services/become-artist-residence.
