Tri-County Tech names 3 finalists for president

Listen to this articleThree candidates have been named finalists in the search for the next president of Tri-County Technical College.
William C. Brothers, vice president and CFO, Southwestern Community College in Sylva, N.C.; D. Galen DeHay, senior vice president, Tri-County Technical College, and Shannon L. Kennedy, executive vice president, Cleveland Community College in Shelby, N.C., are vying for the position.
The Tri-County Technical College Commission will interview the finalists during the next several weeks and select the next president. A final decision is expected by May and the new president will take office July 1.
Ronnie L. Booth announced last fall that he will retire as the third president of Tri-County Technical College, effective June 30, after 16 years as president.
