Columbia International University is introducing a new online Doctor of Business Administration program at its Cook School of Business, specifically designed to meet the development needs of working business professionals.
The new program is unique because it enables students to begin applied doctoral project experience while also working on their core coursework, said Kevin Jones, dean of CIU Global, the school’s online college.
“Students will begin working on their project experience at the very beginning of their program, allowing them to complete their doctoral degree in just 27 months,” Jones said.
Jones said the degree offers students an increased understanding of both academic and practical business management and leadership content.
“It prepares the student for higher level responsibilities within the marketplace for those seeking advancement, and better management practices for those already in senior management positions,” Jones said.
