SCANA declares quarterly dividend

Listen to this articleSCANA Corp. declared a quarterly dividend of 12.37 cents per share on the company’s common stock for the quarter ending Sept. 30 at a meeting of its board of directors on Thursday.
The dividend is payable to shareholders of record at the close of business on Sept. 10.
The board of directors will evaluate future dividend payments on a quarterly basis.
On Aug. 2, SCANA announced a $113 million drop in earnings for the second quarter of 2018 compared to the same period last year. The Cayce-based company reported earnings of $8 million, or 6 cents per share, for the second quarter of 2018, compared to earnings of $121 million, or 85 cents per share, for the second quarter of 2017.
