SCE&G customers to begin seeing name change to Dominion

Beginning today, SCE&G customers will see the new name of Dominion Energy South Carolina on their bills and other correspondence.

“While the name and logo are changing, customers can still count on the excellent service they have come to expect from their electricity and natural gas company,” Rodney Blevins, president and CEO of Dominion Energy’s Southeast Energy Group, said in a news release. “We will take the time to do our rebranding right so that the change is as seamless as possible for customers. Our customers deserve to know who they are doing business with so that they are better protected from scams or fraud, and they will know who to call for safety issues such as gas leaks or downed power lines.”

The Dominion Energy name and logo will soon show up in other places, including employee uniforms and hard hats, the company’s 2,000 bucket trucks and other vehicles, employee ID badges and on social media.  

Customers can continue to call 800-251-7234 for help. An automated phone greeting now includes the company name of Dominion Energy. Entering previous website addresses will take customers to www.DominionEnergySC.com.
