AT&T South Carolina has joined the ranks of almost a dozen private donors to Greenville’s 60-acre Unity Park project.

On Sept. 27, Amanda Taylor, regional director of AT&T South Carolina, presented a $500,000 check to the Greenville City Council representing the total given to the park over the last three years.

AT&T’s contributions make the company one of Unity Park’s largest financial supporters, according to the city of Greenville.

“At AT&T, we’re all about making connections, between people and information, but especially between people,” Taylor said in a news release. “That’s also the vision for Unity Park. So, in that spirit of connecting people and bringing communities together, we are excited to join with the city in supporting the Unity Park project.”

“We are grateful for AT&T’s participation in Unity Park and value its engagement on this transformative project,” Mayor Knox White said in the release.
