Lexington Medical Center has opened a new Lexington Family Practice location in Gilbert.
The practice, in the former Lexington Medical Center Gilbert community medical center, offers on-site imaging, laboratory services, physicals, well visits and same-day appointments. Drs. Kenya Cooper and Payton Foust are accepting new patients.
Cooper, a Columbia native, earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has achieved certifications in advanced cardiovascular life support, advanced life support in obstetrics, fundamental critical care support, neonatal resuscitation and pediatric advanced life support.
Foust is a Lexington County native who graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and also completed his residency at Self Regional Healthcare. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has additional certifications in advanced life support and critical care support. Prior to joining Lexington Family Practice Gilbert, Foust provided primary care at Lexington Family Practice Otarre Pointe.
