The Glass Onion is offering Thanksgiving dishes to go. Menu items include deviled eggs; butternut squash soup; chicken and andouille gumbo; cornbread dressing with sausage or with sausage and oysters; sweet potato casseroles with pecans; braised collard greens; goat cheese cheesecake; and bread pudding. Wine pairings are available for $36 per bottle.

Orders must be placed by Monday to pick up Nov. 22. Orders can be made by calling 843-225-1717.

Whiskey & Oysters at Wild Dunes is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at 200 Grand Pavilion Blvd., Isle of Palms. The event will include five oyster preparations paired with two whiskey selections per course.

Tickets are $35 and can be purchased online or by calling 800-845-8880. Seating is limited, and reservations are required at least 72 hours in advance.

5Church Charleston is set to host its two-year anniversary celebration from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Nov. 15. The event will include a tasting menu from chef Jamie Lynch and executive chef Adam Hodgson, along with guest chefs Chelsey Conrad from Butcher & Bee, Tres Jackson from Sorghum & Salt and Nate Whiting from Juliet. Ben Fagan and the Holy City Hooligans will provide live music starting at 9 p.m.

Dinner reservations are recommended and can be made online or by calling 843-937-8666. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital.

The seventh annual Charleston Beer Garden is scheduled for May 19 at The Grove at Patriots Point.

Tickets go on sale Feb. 1. Proceeds from the event will support Lowcountry AIDS Services.

Hall Management Group is offering Thanksgiving dinners to go. The main course dinner choices include an oven-roasted turkey dinner or a honey-baked ham dinner with family-style side dishes of mashed Yukon gold potatoes, whipped sweet potatoes with pecans, green bean casserole, roasted root vegetables with carrots, parsnips, rutabaga and squash, and Parker House rolls. Both dinners come with stuffing; the turkey dinner has a traditional stuffing with celery, sage, onions and butter and the ham dinner has cornbread stuffing with sausage, herbs, onions and butter.

Dinner that serves four is $160, six is $210, eight is $280, 12 is $420. Reservations and payments must be made by 5 p.m. Friday. Dinners may be picked up beginning Nov. 21. Orders can only be made by calling 843-724-3808.

Tristan Catering & Events has partnered with Pour Taproom and will manage all food service for the 115-seat rooftop restaurant and bar.

Hamby Catering & Events is offering a Thanksgiving catering menu and packages. Hamby’s Gobble Gobble Thanksgiving Package, priced at $155, serves up to eight people. For every Gobble Gobble package purchased, Hamby will sponsor one Thanksgiving meal for a family in need through the Lowcountry Food Bank. The catering company is also offering an a la carte menu with sides, desserts and extra fixings.

Hamby is accepting orders until noon Friday. Orders can be made online or by calling 843-725-4035.

Saltwater Cowboys is scheduled to open this month on Shem Creek at 130 Mill St. in Mount Pleasant. Wade Boals and Brett Yearout have partnered with European restaurateur Joel Olindo, co-owner of Nico, to open Saltwater Cowboys. The restaurant will include a newly remodeled rooftop, dog-friendly patio, outdoor bar and dining space, and more than 60 feet of floating deck.
