Project Host BBQ Cook-off and Festival

Project Host is holding the 9th annual BBQ Cook-off and Festival on Saturday, by the Reedy River at Hudson and Welborn streets. In conjunction with the South Carolina BBQ Association and the city of Greenville, there will be meat smokin’ at the site of the future park near the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The festival will include an “Anything Butt BBQ” competition, a Barbeque and Rib Cooking contest, and family entertainment including live music, food vendors and games for children.

12th annual Wheels for Meals Charity Ride

On Saturday, hundreds of cyclists will take to the road for the 12th annual Wheels for Meals Charity Ride benefiting Meals on Wheels of Greenville. Departing from and returning to Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest, there are five routes to choose from, including 10-, 25-, 50-, 72-, and 100-mile options. After the race, a Post-Ride Celebration will be held at Trailblazer Park with food from Table 301, drinks from New Belgium Brewing Co. and local vendors.
