Tru by Hilton opens on Stonebridge Drive

Listen to this articleAlmost one year to the day after ground was broken on Tru by Hilton Columbia Greystone, the hotel is now open on Stonebridge Drive in Columbia.
The 117-room hotel is owned and operated by Parks Hospitality Group based in Raleigh, says a news release from Parks Hospitality Group. Ground was broken on the hotel Jan. 15, 2019.
The hotel is near the Greystone Boulevard exit off Interstate 126, not far from Riverbanks Zoo and Garden, downtown Columbia and access to interstates 26 and 20.
Another Tru by Hilton is located on Columbiana Drive in the Harbison area. Tru by Hilton properties include rooms with a mobile desk, large bathrooms, a complimentary breakfast bar, fitness center and a 2,880-square-foot lobby. There are 100 Tru by Hilton locations throughout North America.
“We are excited to bring Tru by Hilton to the Columbia Greystone area and to introduce business and leisure travelers to an innovative midscale lodging experience,” said Trevor Walden, vice president of operations for Parks Hospitality Group.
