Seating for the first CHAPS wine tasting of the year is limited to 50 seats, and the museum expects tickets for the Sept. 9 event to go fast.

Presented by Traveling Vineyard’s Haley Grant, the tasting will feature a silent gift basket auction and for early visitors, a viewing of the museum’s Twentieth Anniversary of 9/11 exhibit.

The exhibit, originally displayed in 2011, serves as a memorial to victims, their families and those who assisted on the ground, including Gaffney native Rev. Lyndon Harris, priest-in-charge at St. Paul’s Chapel at ground zero.

Tickets for the wine tasting are $20 for individuals and $160 for a table of eight. Visitors are expected to wear masks when not at their table.
