Three York County hotels have been sold to a Charlotte-headquartered, privately held real estate investment, development and management company.

Hunter Hotel Advisors facilitated the sale of the Hampton Inn & Suites in Fort Mill, along with the Fairfield Inn & Suites and the Townplace Suites in Rock Hill, to Shreeji Hotel Group on behalf of investor groups led by the Warren Norman Co. Shreeji Hotel Group purchased the 307-room portfolio for an undisclosed price.

“This transaction provided our investment group with an opportunity to divest some assets close to home while we seek opportunities in new markets,” Warren Norman, Warren Norman Co. broker in charge, said in a news release from Hunter Hotel Advisors.

Fort Mill and Rock Hill, the fifth-largest city in S.C., are located 30 minutes outside of Charlotte’s city center, home to six Fortune 500 companies.

“The sale of this portfolio is another indication of the strength of quality-branded assets in growing submarkets,” Hunter Hotel Advisors COO Lee Hunter said. “Like so many other sellers today, the Warren Norman Company took advantage of the unbridled demand we continue to see in these locations.”
