Victor’s Seafood & Steak, which opened in June in downtown Charleston, is already expanding next door.
Beginning Dec. 1, the dining room for Victor’s, which is operated by Holy City Hospitality, will be in the space that was previously Michael’s on the Alley.
The dining room is designed to resemble an upscale hunting cabin or a cozy living room, stated a news release from Holy City Hospitality. There are antique furniture pieces and artwork from the collection of the restaurant’s owner, Michael Bennett, as well as Bennett family photos and antiques collected by generations of their Lowcountry family.
The ambiance of the dining room is enhanced by a baby grand piano, with a live pianist on select evenings, according to the release
The dining room and bar area will offer the same menu, so guests can choose the dining experience they prefer, the release stated. Reservations are strongly encouraged for booth spaces, and can be made through OpenTable.com
Menu items range from shareable seafood towers, lobster bisque, and oysters Rockefeller, to classic steakhouse entrees, and local fresh catch seafood specialties.
Victor’s Seafood & Steak is located at 39F John St. on Hutson Alley. It is in between Vincent Chicco’s Italian Restaurant and Coast Bar & Grill, two other Holy City Hospitality restaurants.
Founded in 2001 by Michael Bennett, Holy City Hospitality is one of Charleston’s largest locally-owned hospitality companies
