The BLD Diner, a breakfast and brunch spot at the high-traffic Trenholm Plaza in Forest Acres, has closed its doors.
Owners announced the closing online. The restaurant was located at 4840 Forest Drive, Suite 26.
BLD had opened in 2017 and offered what the restaurant’s social media described as “a modern take on the classic neighborhood restaurant.” The BLD menu offered a variety of breakfast and brunch dishes as well as salads, soups and sandwiches.
This now leaves two vacant restaurant spaces at the Forest Acres shopping center. The other is the former location of Rosso Trattoria, which closed in 2019.
Trenholm Plaza is home to other popular eateries including Original Pancake House, Chipotle, Verde and Tazza Kitchen.
