Arts and Draughts returns to downtown Columbia

The Columbia Museum of Art’s biannual block party Arts and Draughts returns Friday, March 31, from 7 to 11 p.m.

The signature Columbia event offers a chance to explore the museum while also enjoying live music and other performances, food, drinks, exhibits from community partners, art activities and art experiences, according to a news release.

Attendees will be able to visit open galleries at the museum, sample beer from Weco Bottle and Biergarten including selections from Creature Comforts Brewing, and enjoy food from Falafel King, Los Chicanos and Parabellum Mobile Eats.

Live music will be performed by Nashville-based Jive Talk, Lingua Franca out of Athens, Ga., and DJ Lady Marauder out of Augusta, Ga. Greer-based The Planks will also hold their last performance in Columbia.

Other activities will include a scavenger hunt, an interactive screenprinting station led by students from USC Screenprinting, and much more.   

Admission is $10 or $5 for museum members.
