Steel Hands Brewing in Cayce will hold it third annual Nashville Nights concert series this summer.

Nashville Nights features singer/songwriters from Nashville for special live music performances. The artists not only write songs, but many are also currently touring with some of the biggest names in music.

The concerts are free to the public and take place on the outdoor stage in the beer garden at 2350 Foreman St. in Cayce. In case of bad weather, they are moved indoors.

All shows are at 6 p.m. on Fridays. The series starts on June 2 and runs through Aug. 11.

The series in Cayce is hosted by Nashville singer-songwriter Michael Haney, who originally is from South Carolina. He teamed up with Steel Hands’ owners to create the concert series not only to offer people a dynamic concert experience, but to honor and preserve the legacy of songwriting.

“The Carolinas have a rich musical history and love of music, so being able to tap into ‘Music City’ to bring some of the best established and up-and-coming songwriters back home is extremely rewarding,” Haney said in a news release. “I look forward to continuing to add to the growing music scene, cultivating a community and hopefully inspiring those that wish to pursue this path. As they say in Nashville, it all starts with a song.

The series kicks off on June 2 with Channing Wilson. Other performers are Chuck Connor, June 9; Paul McDonald, June 16; Levi Lowrey, June 23; Ben Danaher, June 30; Chris Canterbury, July 7; Lone Hollow, July 14; Ben Chapman, July 31; Zoe Cummins, July 28; Hannah Dasher, Aug. 4 and Johnny and Heidi Bulford on Aug. 11.

Steel Hands is also hosting the Nashville Nights series at its location in Greensboro, N.C. on Thursdays June 10 through Aug. 10.
