Rick Erwin’s newest restaurant has announced an opening date.

Located at 104 E. Poinsett St., Rick Erwin’s Greer is set to open today, Friday, May 26.

Rick Erwin Dining Group’s newest addition will be a classic concept, similar to Rick Erwin’s Eastside, Clemson, West End Grille and Level 10, according to a news release.

The menu will showcase everything from ribeyes and filet mignons, to fresh seafood, appetizers, and desserts, as well as chef’s features unique to the Greer location, the release stated.

The restaurant will be led by general manager Christina Aldrich and executive chef Scott Ostrander, both seasoned Rick Erwin Dining Group employees, the release stated.

Rick Erwin’s Greer replaces The Strip Club 104 steakhouse, which closed in late February.

Rick Erwin’s Greer will take over the space previously occupied by the former steakhouse, following owner Jason Clark’s announcement that he was permanently closing the restaurant after more than a decade in business, the release said.

Rick Erwin Dining Group’s other restaurants include The Vista at 2017 Augusta St. in Greenville.

Rick Erwin Dining Group adds executive

Daniel Lovelace for being named chief marketing officer and director of guest experiences for Rick Erwin Dining Group.

This marks the first time someone other than the two majority owners has been named to a chief position within the company, according to a news release.

In his new role, Lovelace will develop and oversee the marketing strategy and brand standards for the hospitality group and all of its concepts, the release stated. His top priority will be to cultivate a culture of generosity and volunteerism as the company lives out its newest core value of Commitment to Community, assisting the director of operations.
