Spartanburg executives to speak at conference

Emerge: Women in Business 2022 will offer insights from local executives on how to enhance performance with growth, intention and balance in the workforce. The conference is a project of OneSpartanburg Inc.

The conference will last from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 22 at 1811 Event Hall, 805 Spartan Blvd. in Spartanburg.

Gail Sharps Myers, executive vice president, chief legal officer and chief people officer at Denny’s, will speak on methods for encouraging professional growth, while Molly Cashman, owner of Blue Moon Specialty Foods and Yep! Shake, will host a keynote on making purposeful and intentional decisions in the office and the board room. Michelle Pearson, district manager of logistics company Senator International, will cover how to find balance within one’s career.

Participants will have an opportunity to put what they learned into practice through group and networking exercises, according to a news release.

Lunch will be included with event tickets, ranging from $60 for One Spartanburg Inc. members to $80 for non-members.
