Tech company opens office at Fluor Field

Illumifin, a third-party administration and technology services company, opened its headquarters at the Field House at West End, following a $2.5 million renovation.

The Field House at West End is a multi-use development adjacent to Fluor Field, home of the Greenville Drive baseball team. 

Illumifin's headquarters, which encompass more than 20,000-square-feet over two floors of the building, was designed by SHLTR Architects to have with an open floor plan, collaborative gathering spaces and a software demonstration center. Creative Buildings spearheaded the renovation project.

“Illumifin chose the West End of Greenville because we wanted to be a part of the renaissance of this vibrant area," Phil Ratcliff, CEO of Illumifin, said in a news release. "We are proud to make this growing community our home, and to be celebrating the next step in our bright future with our friends and our new neighbors."

The company completed its acquisition of LTCG this week to expand its reach across the long-term care, health and annuity insurance markets. 

The Greenville-based company, founded by Boston private equity firm Abry Partners and Hoplon Capital, employs more than 200 people locally and has approximately 3,000 workers around the world.

Hoplon Capital is an asset manager focused on digital services after acquiring Concentrix Corp.’s third-party insurance administration and software platform.

Greenville City Manager John McDonough and Merle Johnson, director of economic and community development, celebrated the ribbon cutting on Wednesday along with Craig Brown, owner of the Greenville Drive.

"This is a significant development for our entire community to have an industry-leading company like Illumifin establish their headquarters adjacent to Fluor Field,” Brown said in the release. "As we continue to tie together the Fieldhouse Building and Fluor Field, delivering world-class entertainment and memories to the community, we're excited to welcome the Illumifin team to the neighborhood while we work together closely on programs and initiatives that make this community such a wonderful place to live, work and play."

Illumifin has partnered with the Greenville Drive to sponsor “Friday Fireworks Lit Up by Illumifin” as well as “Illumifin Insights,” which provides player statistics for followers of the Drive on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
