SCRA has invested $200,000 in a second round of funding for REsimplifi, a Columbia-based information technology company accepted into the SC Launch program in 2016.

REsimplifi, a commercial real estate transaction management system focused on streamlining agents’ work, will use the money to scale support, development and marketing operations, according to a news release.

Co-founders Henry Moor and David Collier started the company in 2015.

“As commercial real estate brokers, we understand the daily challenges and complexities of closing deals,” Moor said. “In the last two years, we have demonstrated why our technology is unique and built a community among hundreds of brokers who are working side-by-side with us to build the industry’s first automated transaction system for capturing and owning their data to track deals, serve their clients better and make more money faster.”

SCRA is a state-chartered organization that fosters job creation and innovation in South Carolina. SC Launch is its entrepreneurial platform, providing mentoring, grants and investments to qualified state companies in the advanced materials/manufacturing, life sciences and IT industries.

“REsimplifi is a great example of the successful entrepreneurial ecosystem in Columbia,” said Jill Sorensen, SCRA director of entrepreneurial programs and SC Launch executive director. “With their great leadership and support from our team, USC’s Office of Economic Engagement, the USC/Columbia Tech Incubator and the McNair Institute for Entrepreneurism, the company has seen significant growth.”
