The Roaring 20s recognizes 20 large and 20 small companies in an annual event hosted by SC Biz News and its partners at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Columbia.
Hundreds of business leaders and company representatives celebrated during a ceremony preceded by a networking hour and mini trade show in which the 40 honored businesses set up display booths.
To be eligible for the Roaring 20s, companies must have a physical presence in South Carolina and be a for-profit entity or a nonprofit organization, but not a government entity or a charity. Winners are chosen and ranked according to growth and revenue. Small companies are those with $10 million or less in revenue and large companies are those with more than $10 million.
JobImpulse is an international personnel services provider founded in 2006. The company has 50 sites in 12 countries, with U.S. headquarters in Greenville. Southern Current is a solar developer in the residential, commercial and utility-scale markets.
