An interactive three-day series celebrating S.C. innovators will premiere with a pair of events in Columbia next month.

The Toolkit Talk series, part of the S.C. Department of Commerce’s online Scribble initiative, will begin with an invitation-only talk hosted by S.C. Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette at coworking company SOCO’s BullStreet location, followed by an open-to-the-public networking event.

The networking event will include advice from innovators on Scribble, a platform that launched in April to connect state startups with resources.

Scribble includes video interviews with successful industry leaders, curated clips and podcasts.

Other Toolkit Talk events will take place on Feb. 5 at Serendipity Labs in Greenville and Feb. 6 at BoomTown in Charleston. All events will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Online advance registration is required.

The series will conclude with the release of Scribble’s Noteworthy newsletter, which will feature stories of state innovators.
