Zeus Industrial Products, a polymer tubing manufacturer headquartered in Orangeburg, has acquired MWC Technologies, a manufacturer of medical device components based in Chattanooga, Tenn.
“The acquisition of MWC will expand our capabilities and product portfolio to address the rising demand for advanced precision extrusions,” John Winarchick, Zeus CEO, said in a statement.
In February, Zeus invested $15.7 million to expand its existing operations in Aiken County. Prior to that, the company announced a $15.9 million expansion in Orangeburg and a $76 million expansion in Calhoun.
“This acquisition supports Zeus’ focus on growth and innovation,” Frank Tourville, Zeus founder and chairman, said in a news release. “We are confident this will provide value to our customers.”
